The MicroSurfer Options Dialog allows you to customize MicroSurfer's options. It is divided into four groups: Startup Options, Browser Options, Download Options and Caching Options.
Load last accessed tour file
Setting this option causes MicroSurfer to start with the most recently accessed (opened or saved) Tour.
Automatically clear browser's cache (recommended)
Setting this option clears your default browser's cache each time MicroSurfer starts.
Warn me if my browser settings are wrong
Setting this option causes the MicroSurfer Startup Options Dialog to be displayed if your default browser settings are not properly configured to work with MicroSurfer caching or if your default browser's settings could not be determined.
See also "Browser Configuration".
Select browser
The Select Browser option tells you which of your installed browsers MicroSurfer will work with. The Default Browser option refers to your system's default browser. To change your default browser, see "Changing Your Default Browser." Whenever you change your system's default browser, you must restart MicroSurfer before it can begin using the new default browser.
Maximum number of downloading links
This option lets you set the number of links to simultaneously download. The optimum number depends on the speed of your Internet connection.

Pause downloading when surfing in the foreground
Setting this option causes MicroSurfer to pause background downloading automatically, whenever it detects that your Internet connection is being used by other programs. If other programs are not making full use of your Internet connection, MicroSurfer will continue downloading in the background. Downloading also can be paused using the Pause All Downloading command on the Toolbar.

Everything
Checking this option automatically selects and grays out all of the options below it. Unchecking this option allows you to manually select which items you wish to download and cache. In most cases, you will want to have this option checked to take full advantage of MicroSurfer's pre-caching abilities. Note that the bottom three options (Objects, Applets and Scripts) will be grayed out in MicroSurfer Standard Edition.
