Changing Your Default Browser

MicroSurfer displays Web pages in your default browser. To determine which browser is your default browser, click on a link in MicroSurfer and see which browser it automatically opens. To make MicroSurfer work with a different installed browser (one supported by MicroSurfer), you must first change your default browser selection and then restart MicroSurfer before the changes will take effect.

The way that you change your default browser is in a dialog box that is supposed to comes up when you start a non-default browser.  If you do not see a dialog box like the ones below come up when you start the non-default browser, see the next topic, "Setting Internet Explorer to Check the Default Browser."
