With MicroSurfer Plus you can collect, manage, and rapidly access Web-site links. As you collect the links that interest you, you can use MicroSurfer to organize them into hierarchical structures.
MicroSurfer displays the set of links that you have collected in the form of a graphical tree, similar to the way that files and folders are displayed using Microsoft Windows Explorer. This collection of links is called the Links Tree, and forms the main content of the MicroSurfer window. When a Links Tree is saved as a file, it is called a MicroSurfer Tour.
The Opened Folder icon () on the top node in the Links Tree signifies the MicroSurfer Tour file. The text associated with this item is the name of the MicroSurfer Tour file. If the tour has never been saved, it reads "Unnamed MicroSurfer Tour."
The presence of a plus icon ("+") next to any link in the Links Tree indicates that link contains subset components called child items. Clicking on the plus icon displays the child items. When child items are revealed, the original plus icon changes into a minus icon ("-"). Click on the minus icon ("-") to hide the child items again.
The various links you collect with MicroSurfer Plus are arranged hierarchically in the Links Tree. An icon next to each link indicates what sort of item it is. Web-site links are represented by dots, shown in different colors to indicate the status of the link, e.g. downloading in progress, downloading complete, etc. Other icons are used to indicated text notes, e-mail addresses, secure Web pages, etc.
